Finance Friday, Live on Facebook

Our series exploring areas of Personal Finance and Family Finance matters. Tax Accountants often get really deep in the intricacies of the tax implications, and #FinanceFriday was launched to help our clients and online followers deal with issues that impact their family’s building of wealth.

To see #FinanceFriday live, follow me on Facebook @bettehochberger, where you can interact in the chat and discuss the topic of the day. We also feature guests, who come to share their expertise or experiences. We have hosted bankers, investment advisors, real estate experts, startup advisors, venture capitalists, and others to come on our show and share their expertise.

#MiamiTech and Startup Scene

With #MiamiTech heating up with the recent explosion of interest in Miami from the San Francisco and New York City Areas, we brought Bette’s mentor and advisor, Peter Hubshman to #FinanceFriday to talk about fundraising for startups and the right steps to take to have your business ready for funding. We work with Startup Companies, making sure that they keep the books and records necessary to secure financing for their business.

We are bringing other experts from the technology and startup world to talk about funding Startups.

Florida’s Red Hot Real Estate Market

Given the influx of new residents during 2020 and 2021, we are also featuring people that have recently moved to South Florida to share their experiences. Over 1,000 people move to Florida every day, but during the COVID-19 Pandemic, housing inventory shrunk to a bare minimum and prices started to climb. People are buying houses sight unseen, making cash offers, and generally moving quickly to become new Florida Residents. One of our first guests was Real Estate rockstar Sharon Brandt.

Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Elder Law

Areas of finance around estates, long term generational planning, and dealing with elder law or special needs children can be the most complicated areas of personal finance. We will continue to feature attorneys with expertise in these areas to help you control your areas of finance.
