Check out the things that inspire me.
I wanted to hop on and tell you about a few things that inspire me. These inspirations are in no particular order, but one thing that inspires me is exciting trips. You know how when you know you’re going on vacation, you get so much work done, and you are super productive at work and home, everywhere? I love to plan. My last big trip was to India. I’m hoping, maybe not this year, I might have to give my poor family a break and do it in another year or so, but another big trip or at least schedule some downtime after the busy season. Things like that help get you excited and help you get through the daily grind a little bit more easily.
I also find it inspiring seeing my friends, colleagues, and clients succeed, seeing them doing great things in their business or personal life. I find it inspirational. It lets me know I have the right circle of people around me, and it also gives me ideas of cool things that I can try to do. And hopefully, I inspire them too.
Another source of inspiration, not to get mushy, but my husband is amazing. He’s a very successful marketing executive, and he has excellent ideas. He’s a fantastic leader, and I find a lot of inspiration from him.
And probably my biggest inspiration is my kids. I try to be the best version of me that I can be so that when they see me, they think when I grow up, I want to be like my mom. I want to do this; I want to do that. I want to have my own business. I want to do a lot of good work in the community. I want to be available for my kids. Whatever it is, I hope that I can live up to what their expectations of me are.
